Orchestra and Choir of the Collegium Musicum

The concert opens MusicAteneo, the international festival of university orchestras and choirs organised by the Collegium Musicum, now in its 33rd year.

The concert is dedicated to two works that, in different ways and a century apart, express in music the intense content of the Easter liturgies, starting with Vivaldi's "Sinfonia Al Santo Sepolcro", followed by Donizetti's "Miserere in D minor", a foray into the symphonic-choral repertoire of the composer best known for his operatic production. The concert will be enhanced by the presence of soloists Anna Maria Sarra and Marco Bussi, and conductor Enrico Lombardi.
