Museum Ferruccio Lamborghini

Ferruccio’s son, the entrepreneur Tonino Lamborghini personally conceived and founded the Museum, in order to celebrate the history of Ferruccio as well as his genius in the mechanics, engineering, and industrial design sectors. The Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Funo di Argelato (BO) was inaugurated in 2014, moved from its first location in Ferrara (Dosso di S. Agostino), to a larger multi-purpose space located in a former Lamborghini factory, a location just a few kilometers from the center of Bologna and in the heart of the Motor Valley.

The Museum tells the story of Ferruccio's life through his mechanical creations and a vast family photographic archive. This space was conceived and designed by entrepreneur Tonino Lamborghini to celebrate the figure of his father.

The 9000 square meters of the Museum contain all of Ferruccio's industrial production, from the first Carioca tractor, with which he started his first company in 1947, to all of the most important models of the 50s, 60s and 70s. An exciting tour illustrates both the personal collection of cars of the engineer Honoris causa Lamborghini, among which the legendary Miura SV stands out, and his most famous car productions, such as: the famous Fiat Barchetta Sport modified to participate in the Mille Miglia of 1948, the futuristic Countach, the Jarama, the Urraco and the Espada with gull-wing opening that inspired the car of the movie Back to the Future.
