The so-called 'historically informed praxis' is making giant steps: it leaves the enclosure of the 'specialists' and conquers new spaces. This is demonstrated by the Camerata Accademica, an ensemble founded in 2015 by Paolo Faldi with the intention of bringing young musicians closer to an unconventional vision of the baroque and pre-classical repertoire. Four of the Camerata's soloists – the violinists Luca Ranzato and Matteo Anderlini, the cellist Cristina Vidoni and the harpsichordist Alberto Maron – are proposing on this occasion a "transnational" itinerary around one of the key genres of instrumental music between the 17th and 18th centuries: the trio sonata. The main characters are Bach, Guignon, Corelli and Vivaldi.
