On the occasion of 25 April and 1 May 2025, the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna is offering two extraordinary evening openings, the first of which is free of charge, during which it will host Musica ad Arte, a mini-cycle of two concerts organised in collaboration with the Bologna Conservatory of Music, an opportunity to combine the enjoyment of the artistic heritage with that of the classical and contemporary music repertoire.
- On Friday 25 April, the Pinacoteca will be open to the public free of charge from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
At 9 p.m., in the Aula Gnudi, the duo formed by Marta Vettoretti and Lorenzo Iannotti will perform a programme exploring the different sounds of the guitar in the 20th century, including cultured pieces by composers such as Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Turina, the more popular style of Lauro's Venezuelan waltzes and Alirio Diaz's arrangements, and a taste of the contemporary repertoire with pieces by Francesco Morittu and Teresa Procaccini. - On Thursday 1 May, a special opening time from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., at the cost of the normal museum entrance fee, and a 9 p.m. appointment in the Gnudi Hall with a selection of the Six Sonatas for cymbal, flute and violin by Domenico Corri (1746-1825), performed by the Ancient Music Ensemble of the Bologna Conservatory formed by Michela De Pasquale (harpsichord), Renato Roncarati (violin) and Daniele Salvatore (transverse).
