Dedans-Dehors. Research sounds and music

Dedans-Dehors - the title of an important work by the electronic music pioneer Bernard Parmegiani - is intended as a metaphorical reference to an unprecedented articulated and multiform presence of the music research centre Tempo Reale in Bologna. The project declines the idea of an "inside-outside" with a marked explorative spirit, through concert initiatives in some central music venues, but also sound actions to raise awareness of the themes of soundscape and acoustic ecology for all citizens, capable of enhancing peripheral and little-visited areas of the city.

Experimentation and artistic-scientific rigour follow one another in unique and original works and performances, the result of a network of collaborations, artistic, cultural and institutional, that feed Tempo Reale's way of doing research.

Not only do the initiatives take place in synergy with prestigious Bolognese partners, but also with the involvement of musicians and new realities of the territory, as well as, the "external" ones, with the participation of citizens.
