The festival ¡Viva México, Viva Puebla! was born from the success of ¡Viva la Vida! held in Bologna on the occasion of the Mexican tradition of Dia de Muertos.
It promotes the art, history and culture of the city and state of Puebla, taking inspiration from Cinco de Mayo, the anniversary of the Mexican claim to identity as a united and independent country in the face of the French invasion of 5 May 1862.
Thanks to the artistic direction and collaboration with Carlos La Bandera, through music, dance, conferences, exhibitions, typical products, gastronomy, and workshops for young and old, the public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the city of Puebla.
