From 1 to 18 May, Dumbo in Bologna hosts the photographic exhibition “Al Lavoro” (At Work).
It is a multimedia tale of Italy at work, including struggles and trade unions, rights won and violated, and changes, through the shots of great photojournalists, video-investigations, installations, graphic boards and works of art, for a total of over 200 materials.
The exhibition is divided into six sections - public employment, cooperation, child labour, precarious work, safety at work, struggles - and accompanies visitors along a journey through Italian history.
'Al Lavoro' is completed with the most recent trade union battles, from La Perla to Saga Coffee, from Gkn to Gls.
More than 40 photographers are exhibited, including authors such as Paola Agosti, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Francesco Cito, Lucio Cavicchioni, Dino Fracchia, Fausto Giaccone, Uliano Lucas, Fernando Moleres and Alberto Roveri, as well as Michele Borzoni, Margherita Caprilli, Alessandro Digaetano, Massimo Di Nonno, Francesco Giusti, Michele Lapini, Diambra Mariani, Eros Mauroner and Francesco Merlini. ‘Al Lavoro’ is promoted by Legacoop Bologna, CGIL Bologna, Factorcoop and Fondazione Barberini.
