Quattro passi nel Medioevo (A stroll in the Middle Ages)

Crevalcore brings back to life the medieval history: artisans and merchants, soldiers and peasants will evocate the times between 1380 and 1410.

In the large camp there will be everyday life scenes. In the historical market skilled artisans will exhibit the handicraft workings of the time. Moments of learning about weapons and crafts will alternate with scenes of theatre and musical entertainment. 

The event culminates with the re-enactment of the battle that took place in 1390, when Crevalcore was the scene of major feats of arms between the army of the Viscontis and that of the duke Alberico da Barbiano, commander of the Bologna's troups. 

The food stall serves a medieval-inspired menu and traditional Bolognese dishes, while in the Tavern is possible to taste gnocco fritto (fried dumplings) and ippocrasso liquor (a modern version of a medieval drink).
