The (IAT-R) Tourist Information Office of Bologna is in Piazza Maggiore.
Run by Fondazione Bologna Welcome, it has to be seen as a meaningful step to improve the city's tourist information network.
On the ground floor of the magnificent Palazzo del Podestà in Piazza Maggiore, Bologna Welcome invites not only tourists but also citizens to visit a completely renovated, bright and warm area, where it will be possible to find new services in addition to those already given: hotel booking, restaurant reservation, reservations for guided tour, railway tickets and reservations will be added to the tourist information service already provided by the Municipality of Bologna.
Tickets for the theatre as well as for sport and cultural events will be made available.
