Bologna
A special event which is part of the celebrations dedicated to the famous composer, on the 150th anniversary of his death. The conductor Michele Mariotti and the soloists Yolanda Auyanet, Antonino Siragusa, Veronica Simeoni, and Marko Mimica, present the Stabat Mater in the same beautiful room at the Archiginnasio Library, where the opera was first performed on March 18th, 1842 at the presence of Giochino Rossini and with the conduction of Gaetano Donizetti. The concert will be also streamed at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
